The Treasury Bank Connectivity Team enables critical payment and cash management processes across Cargill. Working within a global team you will be responsible for the implementation and use of SWIFT and other bank technology for Cargill, partnering closely with Treasury Cash Management , CBS, and other Cargill organizations to ensure banking solutions align with the defined strategy and vision; and with Global IT teams to ensure solutions align with Cargill?s enterprise technology strategy and framework. You will work with banks, bank technology vendors, and other organizations to manage Cargill?s use of bank connectivity products, services, and standards. You will act as a liaison between the business and the process design and technology team to ensure implementations occur within the defined scope and budget.


Provide business and technical expertise to identify, evaluate, support existing and implement new bank interfaces across Cargill ERP and TMS systems.

Participate in bank technology related projects (e.g. system deployments, process improvement, regulatory) as a technical lead, designer, or analyst (specific role requirements defined on a project-by-project basis)

Provide technical expertise and leadership during bank selection and system changes/implementations across regions.

Understand and manage treasury process and system changes arising from industry and regulatory changes

Review and sign off on regional bank interface designs

Lead/assist with requirements analysis, system enhancements, interface design and testing, change management, user training and implementation

Act as a systems and technology expert to ensure the processes and systems support the business.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, peers and leadership to ensure solutions are implemented successfully using best practices and recommend how to improve current practices across the business.

Identify any customizations required to support the business "To Be" processes, applying "Straight Thru Processing" (STP) concepts.

Ensure application enhancements or changes to existing architecture are supported with robust test cases, subsequent testing and ensure end to end transaction scenarios are executed, confirming no disconnects between the functional groups and process activities.

Participate in process development, communication, training and implementation, providing technical expertise for application support, troubleshooting, and identification of complex risks; presenting and escalating identified issues to appropriate stakeholders.

Recognize risks, design controls and Segregation of Duties (SOD) conflicts to mitigate and eliminate risks.

Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.

Bachelor?s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Two years of related experience

Experience using current Treasury management and ERP systems

Experience collaborating with regional and global project teams

Solid related work experience


Experience of using a corporate cash management/payments system in a large global organisation

Experience working across multiple internal groups within a complex global organisation, and across multiple regions and time zones

Implementation experience and understanding of payments, currency clearing systems, knowledge of SWIFT/ISO 20022 payment formats and various connectivity (SWIFT, SFTP, H2H) methods

Experience creating, executing and delegating test plan execution

Understanding of bank back office operations

Experience in business process redesign

Experience of bank selection process via RFI and RFP

Experience of working directly with major Global Cash Management banks
