DETAILS:

Due to Covid-19, internships are held remotely through 2021
Laptops and equipment will be provided
Duration: a flexible 4 mo. to 1 year program based on project team needs and your availability.
REQUIREMENTS:

Must be enrolled in an academic program and working towards completing a PhD degree
WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON:

Exploring cutting edge research topics on bridging the sim-to-real reality gap for robot simulation.
Investigating and developing algorithms to improve robot simulation including but not limited to
Deformable physics
Contact modeling
Motor modeling
Differentiable physics
Having fun!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently enrolled in a PhD program in a STEM field such as CS, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics with a strong interest in simulation.
Experience in developing simulation algorithms, scientific computing, numerical simulation, high-performance computing (GPU), machine learning.
Experience in programming in C++ writing robust and efficient code.
