Maintenance II is responsible for safe and efficient operation of company equipment to achieve essential duties and responsibilities listed below. The equipment to be operated to successfully accomplish job duties for this position includes, but is not limited to, welders, grinders, torches, hand tools, forklifts, and man lifts.













**Shift:** 2nd Shift













**Principal accountabilities**
















Construct structural components for the support of conveying systems, processing equipment and their related manways


Install and maintain plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and other systems


Assemble, place and secure processing equipment


Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance as needed and/or requested by maintenance management


Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations


Maintaining a safe and clean work environment


Other duties as assigned




**Requirements**
















Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.


Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.


Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)














**Preferred**
















Able to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 25lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation


Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds


Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)


Able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator


Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment


Forklift certified


High School diploma or Equivalent


Able to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance


Prior experience in production related work


Able to perform maintenance trades including electrical, machinist, welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing, maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
