**Position Purpose**



TS Tech I - is responsible for monitoring and control all TS Area(s), and assisting production personnel regarding food quality and/or food safety issues. Position is also responsible for the verification and monitoring of specification and product information about facility processes. This position has accountability for a medium to high complexity facility or limited scope and will manage and maintain facility/corporate and quality audit program. This position will also assist in special projects and trending and reporting daily TS related topics to FSQR professional and higher management



**Principal Accountabilities**



50% - Complete monitoring / verifying knowledge of one or more TS monitoring area(s).

25% - SOP training sign off for general TS training and for all monitoring checks in one or more area(s).

15% - Competency Training - At minimum three consecutive acceptable direct observation per SOP training sign off

10% - Knowledge and execution of commonly used TS acronyms, and ability to identify eight most common allergens













**Required Qualifications**



? Knowledge of general product specs and general operation.



? Must be able to taste test samples of finished product to make sure it meets customer specifications, and



document information per guidelines.



? Demonstrated problem-solver.



? Excellent written and verbal communications skills.



? Must be able to read/write in English is a MUST.



? Experience in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.



? General understanding of GMP, HACCP, and SSOP.



? Must be able to lift 40 lbs.



? Must have flexible schedule and able to work a varied shift, as required.



**Preferred Qualifications**



? Acceptable completion of Nourishing U Food Safety Modules 1-4



? Computer Knowledge



? Knowledge and execution of Temprecorder Reading
