**Position Purpose**

Properly operates the AutoPeeling system and conveying equipment to insure product is peeled and conveyed to the next work station smoothly. Must be able to operate computer control panel and make adjustments to insure the product quality and work standards are met. The operator will be responsible for performing quality checks to insure product peeled and presented according the BOM requirements.

**Principal Accountabilities**

Must be able to operate all equipment involved with the automatic peeler and make the appropriate adjustments to keep the line operating with the equipment and company guidelines to meet product specifications.

Ensures work process and procedures meets or exceeds work standards and monitors the peeler and process closely in order to identify and communicate issues immediately.

Assist with obtaining product to be peeled to keep the operation running smoothly.

Assembles and disassembles all equipment related to the auto peeler and conveying equipment system.

The individual will set up and perform checks on all metal detector and X-Ray equipment to insure the required checks are performed and documentation is met.

Complete all required documentation accurately and proficiently along with other required written communication applicable to the job. Ensuring all processing steps have been completed and a quality product is delivered to the customer.

All food handling tasks are completed properly i.e. proper packaging, weights are in the acceptable range. Assist on the production floor where needed.

Comply with all Corporate Environmental Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

Individual will learn and comply with all HACCP and Food Safety Policies and Procedures; Individual will insure compliance for all monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the Food Safety Management

Supports and contributes to effective safety efforts by adhering to established Cargill and OSHA safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures; wears appropriate PPE clothing and equipment during the performance of work duties; promotes accident prevention; reports injuries; utilizes proper lifting techniques; seeks guidance and assistance if needed; adheres to lock-out/tag-out procedures; and identifies and reports unsafe conditions

**Required Qualifications**

Basic Math and Reading ability

Availability to work weekends and overtime as required

Willingness to complete procedural training for this position in the Stuffing Department

Must be able to read, write and speak English

Strong Computer knowledge and skills

Written and verbal communication skills

Must be Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Must be 18 years or older

Must be attentive to details to follow set schedules and directions

**Preferred Qualifications**

Previous food manufacturing experience

Production experience

Mechanical Aptitude

Computer Knowledge and Skills

Work History in the last 12 months
