Principal Accountabilities

**Primary Duties:**

Batching of ingredients to product formula

Responsible for raw material variation within approved range

FIFO of all ingredients

Responsible for partial bag storage and identification, all open or torn bags must be taped closed or put into another bag or container and marked with all needed information (lot#, date, etc.)

Accuracy of batching/rework paperwork, all reports must be legible and initialed where correction have been made.

Proper scanning of ingredient labels

Cleaning and organization of ingredient area

Maintenance of area equipment

Notify Supervisor of progress and any problems

Transfer responsibilities from shift to shift

To insure food safety is protected, make sure all partially used bags or containers are closed and sealed by tape or other means of closure. (sewn, date tape, etc.)

**Secondary Duties:**

Follow all plant safety procedures.

Must be able to obtain fork lift license.

Other duties as assigned by management will be required.

Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.

Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment.

Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).

High School diploma or Equivalent.

Basic use of a computer.

Basic use of a computer and typing skills

Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a production or plant environment
