At **Cargill Feed and Nutrition** we provide customized animal nutrition solutions to customers across the Americas, Europe and Asia. We operate some of the most technologically advanced plants in the world, but they can't run by themselves - we depend on creative, responsible, hardworking individuals like you.



**Job Description** :



This position is responsible for the manufacturing and shipping of animal feed.



**Principal Accountabilities:**



Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e, batching mixers, pellet mills, grinders, grain cleaners.

Manufacture products to ensure that they meet specifications, and HACCP requirements.

Run Logics Real-time equipment.

Schedule production based on customer demands. (Mixer)

Schedule runs per FDA guidelines.

Operation of the packing/bagging machines.

Stacking bags.

Sampling and labeling of processed feeds.

Completing all records and reports on processed feeds.

Basic maintenance of bagging equipment.

Housekeeping.

Safety - responsible for safety of themselves and teammates.



**Required:**



Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.

Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).

Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.



**Preferred:**



Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).

Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment.

Forklift certified.

High School diploma or Equivalent.

Basic use of a computer and typing skills.

Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word.

Working knowledge of Inventory Systems.

Prior experience in production related work.
