**Job Description:** Electricians are responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant electrical systems and for perform skilled electric work, and maintenance/repair of electrical components in the facility.

**Shift/ Work Hours:** 1st Shift, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday. Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice is required.

**Compensation Range:** $28.00 - $34.00 /hr USD.

**Principal Accountabilities:**

Execute plant electrical preventative and predictive maintenance.

Comprehending mechanical/electrical schematics, blueprints, and/or operation manuals.

Manufacturing setting such as grain, feed, milling, food production, pet food, or other manufacturing facility.

Use of ladders, lifts, and other related tools

Call in parts orders to electrical shops- execute a PO and arrange delivery/pick-up.

Self-directed on electrical projects/upgrades.

Use a CMMS system and generate/close out work orders.

Assist with electrical parts inventory and shop stock.

Use the internet and local contacts to find correct parts and services.

Use Microsoft Excel and Outlook Email for reports, data and communications.

Be on-call on a rotating basis.

Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations.

Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ability to perform electrical maintenance trades.

Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written).

Basic use of a computer and typing skills.

Master or Journeyman Electrician- Up to date state license in MO or KS.

Experience with 480v electrical and 3-phase motors: wiring, replacement, and selection.

At least 1 years of experience in electrical work and manufacturing setting or related work.

Ability to be on call on a rotating basis.

Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice.


Working knowledge of VFD?s, PLC Panels, Servo Motors, and Allen Bradley Logic Programming.

Experience in 120v and 480v electrical cabinets and j-boxes.

Experience troubleshooting bucket elevators, drag conveyors, mixers, hammer mills, and other processing equipment.

Experience with boilers and steam piping and valves.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook Email.

Able to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above).

Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment.

Able to perform maintenance trades including machinist, welding, pipe fitting and fabrication, rigging systems, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance and hydraulic and pneumatic.

High School diploma or Equivalent.
