**This Full time position is located in Fort Dodge, IA; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 number in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.**



The Corn Receiving Specialist position is responsible for Corn truck check-in, Monitoring truck scales, Management of elevator information systems, Customer Service/Communication with truck drivers, Liaison between truck drivers and merchants, and Bin Management.



**Principal Accountabilities:**



Direct and monitor the unloading of corn trucks: which includes operations of truck dump equipment, scale monitoring, coordinating of truck movement. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required, including, but not limited to, operator-based maintenance, cleaning of area and equipment, environmental equipment monitoring.

Generation of truck scale tickets, troubleshoot minor computer problems. Seek necessary equipment maintenance from operations personnel.

Customer Service/Communication - regular interaction with truck drivers, serve as liaison between truck drivers and merchants. Daily communication with grading personnel and operations supervisors.

Bin Management: Daily monitoring of bins for temperature and quality. Direct interaction with personnel in operations to exchange information.

Safety/Ethics - perform all work following Cargill safety and food safety policies, ensure we maintain a sanitary work area including control room, dump bay and restroom, communicate expectations to drivers regarding no smoking and safety practices necessary for unloading - report concerns as appropriate. Handout and collect electronic swipe cards.

Identify and troubleshoot potential problems with elevator systems and fix if possible. Act as a liaison between Cargill personnel and outside contractors to rectify any problems. Safely coordinate daily and emergency maintenance, including lockout of equipment and completion of required permits.



**What You Will Need:**



Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in United States

Must be 18 years or older

Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, may be required to lift up to 10lbs occasionally, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodations

Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

High School diploma or Equivalent

Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Basic use of a computer and typing skills

Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)

Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice



**Preferred:**



Able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment

Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word

Prior experience in production related work
