**This is a 2nd Shift position**

We are looking for a passionate Warehouse Technician who wants to help the world thrive!

The Warehouse Technician is the entry level position among the cross-trained and multi-functioning Process Technicians and Utility Operators. This position is responsible for loading trucks as well as assisting with reporting and conducting other critical work in the warehouse. Needing some computer skills to utilize our logistical systems for reporting as well as teaching others how to use the system effectively as well is a plus. This person may also occasionally assist other team members in other areas of the facility as management sees fit in support of our customer?s needs.

**Principal Accountabilities:**

Operate forklift. Utilize a forklift to load and unload trucks and move product about the warehouse.

Perform Clerical Duties: Checking in drivers, completing load documentation, assigning/applying seals, resolving driver issues.

Complete shipping paperwork.

Assist supervisor and lead in all delegated aspects including department work orders, coordination of inventory movement/accuracy, and other related activities.

Representing the Cargill Values as it relates to the interaction and communication with carriers and internal/external customer service.

Lead/Participate in process improvements for department.

Other Plant Operations, as management designates, such as but not limited to assisting maintenance mechanics with preventative maintenance or warehousing operations loading and unloading feed and ingredients.

Demonstrate initiative to develop new operational skills. Participate in training opportunities offered by Cargill to increase familiarity with facility and learn procedures for performing additional mill operations.

Comply with requirements of the Food Safety Quality Regulatory (FSQR) programs in each operation performed.

Maintain clean and orderly work area by keeping tools and equipment in proper places and all materials off the floor. Perform all related cleaning and sanitizing of equipment. Properly dispose of waste material. Be proactive with cleaning efforts as facility may receive non-company personnel. Follow all requirements of Facility Housekeeping, FSQR, and HACCP Plans.

Perform all other job functions as assigned.

Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.

High School diploma or Equivalent.

Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling and pounding with a hammer.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as dusty, extreme heat and/or cold.

Ability to work in elevated areas.

Must be able to read/write English.

Basic computer skills.

Ability to work overtime.

Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts.


Experience in fast-paced industrial production environment.

Able to operate a Forklift.

Able to operate heavy equipment.

Able to operate machinery.
