**Electrical Tech I** is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The types of roles available require programming and troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLC?s, electrical schematic, design and fabricate electrical controls panels, and repair electrical control panels. This role requires being able to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information.



While performing the duties of Electrical Tech I, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.



**Principal Accountabilities**



? Run conduit and repair existing electrical systems

? Will be required to install, adjust, and repair electrical distribution systems, electrical machines, motors, switches, heating devices, cooling controls, gauges, PLC's and all electrical units, devices or pieces of equipment used in our facilities in production or office buildings

? Will be required to work with all voltage levels as required by the supervisor of the maintenance department

? Diagnoses causes of problems and/or failures in electrical systems for the purposes of identifying repair or replacement needs

? Execute electrical wiring plans for well functioning lighting and electrical systems

? Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems

? Install distribution and safety components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)

? Connect wiring in electrical circuits

? Ability to use tools such as pliers, drill, knife and wire strippers



**Required Qualifications**



Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Must be 18 years or older

Electrical Tech Experience in an industrial setting

Previous Cargill experience

Work history in the past 12 months
