**Position Purpose andSummary**






The
Parts Room Clerk is responsible for the material flow and storage in the
Maintenance Parts Room. This includes
the physical of all goods (MRO, supplies, etc.), cycle counts, and distribution
of material to appropriate departments.
The position is also responsible for staging MRO material for work order
kitting by Purchase Order. The Parts
Room Clerk ensures accurate inventory by issuing parts in the system to
stakeholders/departments via work orders and helps assure inventory policy is
adhered to with full documentation. They
also receive service/contractor POs in the system based on signed PODs, so
creates vouchers via this step while ensuring two-way match documentation is
complete and accurate. The Parts Room
Clerk works with the Maintenance Planner and Purchasing team to address
appropriate inventory levels of stocked parts, make disposition decisions, and
help determine min/max levels. This
position requires proactive attention to detail, environmental safety, plant
safety, and ergonomics.




**Principal Accountabilities**








35% - Man partswindow and issue parts to mechanics/stakeholders; make correspondingadjustments in the system

10% - Receivematerial POs in SAP for payment based on inbound deliveries from dry warehouse

10% - Work withPurchasing, Maintenance Supervisors, and Maintenance Planner to review currentstock vs obsolete stock to ensure a consistently relevant and useful shelfstock.

10% - Kit workorders for mechanics

10% - Cycle countthe parts room and review necessary adjustments system-to-physical-count withMaintenance Planner for approval.

10% - Stockmaterial delivered from dry warehouse receipts.

5% - General,food-safe, and plant-safe housekeeping of Parts Room and Maintenance Shop.

5% - Receiveservice POs in SAP for payment.

5% - Performmiscellaneous job-related duties as required.








**Minimum RequiredQualifications**









High School degree

Warehouse experience

Strong teamwork and communication skills

High sense of priority and process-honoring criticality

Awareness and attention to detail surroundingenvironmental/plant/food safety and ergonomics

Strong organizational skills

















**Preferred Qualifications**









Strong PC skills (especially within the Microsoft Officesuite).

Relative parts knowledge

Experience with replenishment model/JITinventory stock

Forklift experience
