**Maintenance Tech III** **is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility\. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title\. The types of roles available require troubleshooting, ensuring proper maintenance and operational status of equipment, using a variety of hand tools to set up, break down, adjust production line machinery, and performing other duties pertaining to hydraulics and pneumatics, all while making safety the number one priority\. Maintenance Tech III requires being able to read manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information\.**

While performing the duties of Maintenance Tech III, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment\. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility\.

**Principal Accountabilities**

This position performs maintenance of equipment for the hatchery operation on a rotating schedule of three days one week and four days the next, including every other weekend and holidays as required\. In addition, the position fills in for vacation and illness of other maintenance employees\.

Perform repetitive tasks\.



* Must be able to perform general machine repair without assistance\.

* Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

* Must be 18 years or older\.

* Must be able to do basic motor control and motor circuit repairs\.

* Must know and understand PM procedures for assigned machines\.

* Must be able to troubleshoot equipment\.

* Must be able to understand and use blueprints, pneumatics, hydraulics, plumbing, fabrication/welding, schematics, and installation/operation manuals to install and repair equipment\.

* Must have excellent computer literacy, and possess electronics experience and/or relevant electronics education and training

* Know, understand and perform preventative maintenance on a wide variety of processing equipment\.

* Must be able to troubleshoot and repair thermal transfer and ribbon printers\.

* Must be able to troubleshoot and repair overhead, in\-motion, and platform scaling systems\.

* Must understand PLCs and equipment integration\.

* Must remain current with latest technical information through a program of continuing education or advanced apprenticeship training, and possess computer skills
