**First Line Production Supervisor**

This role serves as the leader of hourly direct reports on an assigned shift rotation in the liquor/refining or depositing/packaging department\. The purpose is to drive performance and accountability for safety, food safety, operational excellence, and production efficiency on the assigned shift\.

**Principal Accountabilities**

30% Environmental Health and Safety

\-Drive a culture of safety governed by Human and Organizational Performance in which employees take self\-accountability for their safety and identify at risk behavior before injury occurs

\-Utilize the Enablon system to complete investigations and determine root cause in order to complete actions and prevent reoccurrence

15% Food Safety and Quality

\-Ensure all food safety policies, GMPs, master sanitations schedules are being adhered to and all food safety paperwork is properly and accurately completed

\-Work directly with FSQR department to achieve first pass quality standards

15% Operational Excellence

\-Serve as an asset owner and bring improvements and needs to the Reliability Team

\-Coordinate cross functionally with the Warehouse and FSQR to meet rework consumption goals

\-Champion shift exchanges, integrated daily execution, and visual management

\-Ensure accuracy of all SAP confirmations, consumptions, and movements

40% Leadership and people management

\-Drive stakeholder accountability through constructive feedback, training, and behavior correction

\-Complete personnel schedules in order to ensure 100% shift coverage and validate hours in Kronos appropriately

\-Manage daily operations of the shift and assign all tasks based on priority



\-High School Diploma

\-1 year \(or more\) of supervisory experience or demonstrated leadership experience, such as crew leadership, project leadership or equivalent

\-Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with internal functions \(maintenance, sales, logistics, accounting\), contractors, suppliers, auditors and customers

\-Leadership skills including ability to build highly effective teams

\-Conflict management skills

\-Basic understanding and knowledge of HR practices, including EEO, Guiding Principles, etc\.

\-General knowledge of production management with ability to develop understanding of plant processes and operational needs

\-Ability to develop employee accountability and engagement

\-Ability to apply proper procedures in the areas of safety, environment, health and food safety

\-Strong prioritization skills

\-Ability to work independently and in a teamwork environment

\-Ability to work a 12 hour rotating shift


\-Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment
