**Position Purpose**



**General Production** is an important role in the daily operations of our facilities\. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title\. The types of roles available are handling all aspects of the animal including but not limited to, processing meat, trimming, verifying quality and accuracy of products, packaging, weighing and boxing, all while making safety and food safety the number one priorities\.



While performing the duties of General Production, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces at varied heights; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment\. Positions require standing the entire shift, the use of stairs, and the use of PPE which is required in all areas of the facility\.



**Principal Accountabilities**



Perform repetitive tasks\. Examples include:



Trimming to remove fat, hide, defects or contamination from muscle and tissues

Supporting roles in the processing of beef

General use of a knife or other tools

Weighing, labeling, bagging, packing and boxing finished product

Ensuring food safety and quality

Cleanliness and housekeeping

Maintaining a safe working environment

**Qualifications**



**Required Qualifications**



Legal to work in the US without the need of a Visa sponsorship

Must be 18 years or older



**Preferred Qualifications**



Beef processing experience

Meat processing experience

Production experience

Knife experience

Work history in the last 12 months
