**Retail Account Representative**

**Description**



Interfacing with clients and prospective customers, helping them understand how Cargill Animal Nutrition can provide solutions for them and improve their profitability\. Consultants typically specialize in an area of expertise, dairy, beef, swine and retail sales to owners of companion animals\.



This position is responsible for leading the relationship at the store level with Ag Retailers and implementing marketing programs and conducting service activities, in order to achieve objectives for volume, revenue, profit, consumer experience, retention and satisfaction\.



This role is critical for the execution of the marketing strategy for the product lines going into the Ag retail channel\. This role is also responsible for executing and supporting the In\-Store Experience, Grand Opening Events, Joint Sponsorship Opportunities, Promotions, and Groundswell strategies\.



This is a field\-based position and will cover a territory in parts of Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia\. This position requires 40\-60% travel \(2\-3 nights out per week\)\.



Principal Accountabilities



30%\- Establish and build effective customer relationships\.



20%\- Work with customers to enhance the profitability of their business\.



20%\-Provide communication between the customer and business management team\.



10%\-Work closely with team members to solve complex customer issues\.



10%\-Develop and execute marketing strategy and plans\.



10%\- Implement promotions and advertising\.



**Qualifications**



Required Qualifications





* High school graduate or GED\.





* Have a strong desire to work in species management and agricultural sales\.





* Demonstrated leadership, creativity, and excellent communication skills\.





* Previous experience in the industry\.





* Good time management skills\.





* Strong self\-starter, good analytical and conceptual skills\.





* Strong Specie technical skills\.



Preferred Qualifications





* At least 2\-3 years of sales or retail experience\.





* Bachelor?s degree\.
