**Description**



In the US, Cargill Protein is McDonald's egg category manager - the supplier of further processed value\-added eggs and the manager of all shell egg purchasing\. Cargill Protein has served as the supplier of processed value\-added eggs since 1995 and added shell eggs in 2004\. It also supplies egg products to McDonald?s Canada\.



This position provides key support to our business and relationship with the McDonald?s by providing flawless execution as the Egg Category manager for McDonald?s\. The scopes of responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Focus on building upon and growing our value proposition with McDonald?s

Coordinate cross functionality with Commercial Lead, culinary, MandI, field service, plants, etc\. to create and guide key initiatives for our egg and breakfast product offerings to McDonald?s

Contribute to business case development based on McDonald?s needs to drive growth for both organizations

Leads the teams in brainstorming, prioritizing and executing on cost savings projects for McDonald?s

Provide information for the demand forecast with input from Havi and McDonald?s

Understand the competitive landscape within the egg industry and McDonald?s and incorporate knowledge of competitors when applicable

Internal capacity and contingency reviews

Accountable for understating McDonald?s strategy, assessing needs and proactively producing solutions for McDonald?s with significant business impact

Charter development and submission

Works with the team on identifying complaint trends and coordinates corrective actions as needed

Support presentations/meetings/communication with McDonald?s when needed



**Principal Accountabilities**



**60% Support MBU and Egg/Breakfast Strategy**



Work on projects/initiatives prioritized by the GM/MBU/Business Lead driving progress across Sales, Marketing, RandD, Pricing, Supply Chain

Work cross functionally with other MBU team members to help identify synergies between businesses that can be leveraged



**10% Sales and Profitability Analysis:**



Collaborate with Decision Support and FPandA to ensure pricing meets our pricing protocol agreement

Sales analysis to help identify trends and opportunities



**30% Support McDonald?s Requests**



Reporting requests such as economic impact report, diversity spend, cost savings submissions, etc\.

Help coordinate with the right Cargill resources to support McDonald?s resource requests, information sharing requests, media requests, etc\.



**Qualifications**



**Required Qualifications**



Bachelor?s Degree or extended experience in aligned role

Minimum five years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Ops, RandD or FPandA

Demonstrated ability to analyze processes to significantly improve business performance and profitability

Financial analysis skills - ability to analyze financial performance to drive profitability

Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous environments and utilize active inquiry skills

Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Strong collaboration and influencing skills

Proficient in MS Office

Available to travel 40%

Business fluency in English



**Preferred Qualifications**



Demonstrated effective Commercial Problem Solving / Decision Making

Understanding of food industry/market/sales channels

Minimum five years of experience Marketing or Sales in the food industry

Strong Proteins domain expertise

Experience developing and leading the strategy for premium product lines/brands
