Preparation and Bulk Material Handling Technology Leader - Wayzata, MN



Job Description:



Control and oversee the technology framework for operations that drives preparation and bulk material handling in our global oilseeds processing facilities\. Manage and communicate the strategy for this core technology of our global oilseeds business\. Align the technology fraimework to Cargill corporate policies and the strategic priorities of the oilseeds business\. Devise and deliver a comprehensive approach that all the oilseeds facilities will employ in their preparation and bulk material handling operations\. Provide constant direction and advise to the teams conducting these operations across our facilities, to ensure that they execute processes and best practices appropriately and comply with all applicable standards\. Definition of the technology used for our oilseeds preparation and bulk material processing business\. Be the technology leader for this business area whose strategic technology planning and management, coupled with his advising on best practices, will streamline and optimize its operation\. Define and implement best engineering practices, support and oversee implementation of process improvements, drive efforts to meet current safety standards, and enhance the future safety and reliability of oilseed preparation and bulk material processing in order to reduce variable operations costs and increase revenue in our oilseeds crushing plants worldwide\. Provide direction on plant equipment operation to achieve optimal efficiencies and performance\. Set standards with regard to equipment selection , sizing, and design for capital project\. Create and publish best practice documents for use as reference materials by oilseeds plant personnel\. Regularly review operating performance across the business, as well as external data and business priorities\. Support the resolutions of problems in various facilities to ensure they are able to execute the operations strategy effectively\. Coordinate extensively with the other Technology Leaders who are responsible for other core function of the global oilseed crushing business\. Coordinate with an advise numerous internal and external groups including our oilseeds project teams, our Oilseeds Operations World Geography Leadership, our oilseeds product customers, equipment and supply vendors, and outside consulting firms\. Overseen and coordinate the work or our regional Crush Technoogy Leaders in the area of preparation and Bulk Material Handling, who are based in North America, South America, EMEA, and APAC\. Requires up to 20% domestic and 80% international travel\.

**Qualifications**



Qualifications:



Required Education and experience: Bachelor?s or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering and/or Management Science or closely related and 5 years of experience as \(all levels\): Plant Superintendent, or closely related field\.



Required Skills:



Three \(3\) years of experience with the following skills:





* Managing plant operations dedicated to foodstuff processing;





* Overseeing production activities at soybean and/or softseeds crushing plants;





* Improving plant capacity and efficiency, production and maintenance performance;





* Developing and implementing programs and procedures that contribute to Good Manufacturing Practice \(GMP\) certification;





* Implementing quality systems related to food safety and environmental health and safety;





* Applying preparation and bulk processing handling and storage safety standards, policies, and codes;





* Applying and optimizing processes, equipment, quality, and safety
