**Refrigeration** is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility\. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title\. The types of roles available require troubleshooting, ensuring proper maintenance and operational status of refrigeration systems, using a variety of hand tools to set up, break down, adjust machinery, and perform other duties pertaining to hydraulics, pneumatics, compressors, and ammonia systems, all while making safety the number one priority\. Refrigeration requires being able to reading manuals written in English and the ability to write and document information\.



While performing the duties of Refrigeration, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast paced warm/cool environment\. Positions require standing the entire shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility\.



**Principal Accountabilities**



Familiar with all utility systems and equipment

Knowledge of industrial refrigeration, commercial HVAC equipment and cold storage blast operations\.

Ability to operate and run diagnostics checks on a variety of equipment and systems

Working understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical power transmissions

Good understanding o computer management systems and Office products \(Excel, Word?\)

Good understanding of basic troubleshooting processes of mechanical and electrical systems and help recommend corrective designs and make needed repairs\.

Familiar with all levels of machine PM?s and be able to work in a cold environment down to \-40 and willing to work at heights up to 36 feet

Ability and willingness to participate in the HAZMAT team

Excellent work performance and able to access a computer from home 24/7

Must be willing to work scheduled department hours and weekends and overtime as required

Demonstrate professional working relationships and has the ability to interact effectively with production management, quality assurance and contractors\.

Demonstrate ability to perform the task of the job

Ability to work in extreme cold for extended periods of time \(
