**FSO Production Operator Shortening 2nd shift**

**This full time time position is located in Sidney OH; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 area code in case you are considered\. Relocation assistance is not provided\.**

**This shift goes from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday\.**

FSO Operator:

Invested in learning all FSO roles\. Ensures the safe, efficient and secure operation of production lines\. Contributes to overall plant productivity and efficiency by providing support to the production lines by being task\-oriented, proactive and responsive\. Supports the Supervisor, Production Lead and all Cargill initiatives\. Troubleshoots problems with production flow and equipment\. Sets a good example by following Cargill?s ?Guiding Principles?\. Understands and ensures that finished goods are within all customer specifications\.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Day to day operations: Will operate packaging equipment and all other associated production equipment to produce quality product in a safe and efficient manner\. IE\) case erector, product filler, case sealer, case labeler\. Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform minor maintenance on this equipment\. Assist maintenance with PM?s and/or repairs as needed\. Perform line changeovers and quality checks as required\. Commit to learn any new FSO initiatives\. Learn to read and interpret the production schedule\. Practice safe behaviors; follow all GMP?s and food safety initiatives as designated by Cargill\.

Team building: Assist other operators as needed\. Cross train in all areas when time permits\. Communicate with the line lead and/or supervisor to ensure overall success in all areas\.

Food Safety/Quality: Ensure Cargill?s and our customer?s food safety and quality criteria are understood and met without exception\.

Housekeeping: Ensure all sanitation daily and end of week tasks are being completed

Must be able to read/write English

High School diploma or Equivalent

Basic computer skills

Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, open/close valves

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Ability to work overtime

Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts

Must be able to operate machinery


Able to perform physical job duties including climbing ladders

Forklift certified

Prior experience in production related work
