**Position Purpose and Summary**



This Management Accounting and Reporting Senior Analyst position in the NA Accounting and Reporting team will support the NA ?CPS? Cargill Protein and Salt business and partner with FPandA, Management Information and Decision Support, and Financial Accounting and Reporting team to provide insights and information to better inform and drive sound decisions\. This role will develop and implement the standard operating model used by Protein?s ?MAR? Management Accounting and Reporting team to identify PandL financial misstatements in advance of closing the books and coordinating the necessary entries to get posted so the financials are materially correct\. This person will also develop a strategy to gather necessary business insights in order to update clear and concise analytical commentary for the ?LLFSR? Lower Level Financial Statement Review process and ensure the business results match the US GAAP accounting results\. There will be a heavy focus on analysis and business partnering, requiring a broad understanding of the Protein and Salt businesses\.



**Principal Accountabilities**



60% Management Reporting Analysis



Review, reconcile and report on Beef Segment PandL statements, ensuring accuracy and providing an understanding to key stakeholders in FPandA, Decision Support, MRA, FRA, and key business resources\.

Develop and implement the standard operating model used by Protein?s MAR team to identify PandL financial misstatements in advance of closing the books and coordinating the necessary entries to get posted to ensure the financials are materially correct\.

Provide relevant and meaningful commentary on LLFSR reports, resulting in adequate understanding for Finance Leadership\.

Key contact for the business and AandF domain leads to address monthly management reporting questions and partner with FPandA, MIDS, and FAR to ensure a broad and firm understanding of key business drivers that match PandL business results\.

Provide understanding and bridge the gap between plant/segment to sales channel PandL?s\.

Develop and implement a plan to compile and present key business metrics in a dashboard view\.



30% Continuous Improvement and Collaboration



Partner and collaborate with CBS, Financial Reporting, and MIDS to utilize technology and streamline processes\.

Review current reporting structure to rationalize current set of reports and update as needed\.

Work with other NA Management Accounting and Reporting teams to collaborate and leverage technology, processes and knowledge\. This role will be the key point of contact in the MAR team and will drive results and expectations\.

Partner with business leaders to develop key metrics and reporting for the evolving Protein business model\.

Partner with the BOSC organization and leverage technologies to enhance consolidated reporting across multiple systems\.



10% Other Duties as Assigned



Champion and lead change management activities for finance and the Protein Group, helping drive the One Finance model among our multiple towers

Keep management reports updated when bringing on new plants through acquisitions and/or mergers\.



**Qualifications**



**Required Qualifications**



Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance, or related business degree\.

Minimum 5 years of Accounting and/or Finance experience\.

Strong experience in Excel using complex formulas commonly used in large organizations when analyzing data\.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, within multiple levf the organization\.

Ability to influence multiple levels of the organization\.



**Preferred Qualifications**



Experience with analytic tools, including some or all of the following: Power BI, Alteryx, or Tableau\.

Strong attention to detail, passion for learning, and a curious attitude\.

Beef industry experience and knowledge\.

A desire for growth and development\.
