**Description**



**Position Purpose**



This position supports and manages important NGO and stakeholder relationships related to Cargill?s corporate responsibility and sustainable development \(CR SD\) priorities\. In addition, this position works with the Senior Director to help identify potential new relationships that advance Cargill?s positions on our priority isssues \(e\.g\., sustainable nutrition, farmer prosperity, food loss/waste, etc\.\) and builds allies among a wide variety of stakeholders including NGOs, IGOs, customers and academics, among others\.



This role supports the strategy for development of a consistent approach across Corporate Affairs and Cargill for global partnerships and programs with select non\-governmental, non\-profit and international development organizations that advance Cargill?s CR SD priorities, including the implementation of a consistent grants management and partnership framework for the company including monitoring, evaluation and reporting on the impact of these multi\-year investments\.



The Partnerships Manager will work within the CR SD team to support Cargill businesses on corporate responsibility, sustainable development, partnership development, and community engagement and serves as company representative with select NGOs, business associations and at multi\-stakeholder forums\.



**Principal Accountabilities**



40% Directly manage select strategic partnerships as well as be part of CRandSD teams managing strategic partnerships that directly align to Cargill?s CRandSD priorities\. Support program development, engage country CA teams and support specific businesses to engage with current and new partners and programs\. Represent Cargill in key platforms and work with relevant CA teams to amplify our work and participations\.



25% Drive implementation and training of new process and tools for consistent partnership and grants management across the CR SD team and Cargill businesses\.



\- Microedge/GIFTS tools, ensure consistent implementation on new processes and policies



\- Deliver regular training and support for regional teams\. Ensure information is regularly updated and hosted on the community and civic engagement hub



\- Track engagement and progress of implementation



15% Support work to map and connect our partnerships work to Cargill integrated reporting processes and utilization of frameworks such as the SDGs, GRI and others



\- Manage SDG tracker and ensure updated pipeline of content for the SDG page on Cargill\.com



\- Work with integrated reporting team to feed in info from GIFTS and build new ways to track aggregated impact of our partnerships



10% Support internal and external events within the CR SD team, work closely with CR and CA communications teams to highlight partners and programs



10% Work on agreed public policy and issues areas and participate in relevant Corporate Affairs Strategic Priority Teams



**Qualifications**



**Minimum Required Qualifications**





* Undergraduate degree or 5 years experience in a large organizational environment \(either private sector or large non\-profit\), with experience in managing public\-private partnerships and global philanthropy





* Organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to articulate business benefit and track the impact





* Exceptional relationship management skills





* Ability to develop new ideas and solutions





* Strong communications and influencing skills





* Ability to collaborate across geographies and cultures





* Analytical skills to build systems for measurement and reporting





* Proven ability to successfully manage large scale programs with significant resources of funds and time, ability to work at all levels of the organization, build rapport, articulate vision and enable others to deliver on this



**Preferred Qualifications**





* Degree in social sciences, business management, environmental sciences or international relations





* Ability to navigate international development sector





* Knowledge of food security, nutrition, agricultural development sector
