**Description**



**PositionPurpose**



Todrive the execution of customer coordination by virtue of their experience,skills and demonstrated behaviors\. This position requires efficient control andclose liaison with the internal and external Cargill customers\. Further to this the encumbent will provideproactive support to commercial teams during the pre\-fixing and post\-fixture processes\. The encumbent should have or have theintention to develop a a thorough understanding of the customer?s business andmaintaining a high level of efficiency throughout all tasks\. \\



**Principal Accountabilities**



**50% \- Operations execution** **\- Manage the day\-to\-day vessel operations, laytime calculations and invoicing as described below:**





* Invoices: timely approval of invoice as raised by Admin Operations and checked by Laytime group\.





* Finalizations - close out of voyages\.





* Working with Vessel Operations and/or vessel masters for safe/expedited stow plan timing/quality helping customers optimize stows where able\.





* Responsibility for voyage financials





* Coordinate with Vessel Operator, Claims team to resolve pending claims with customers and owners as applicable\.





* Serve as defacto Broker Operations and Subject Matter Experts of Marine Operations for internal Cargill customers in order to provide sound guidance\.





* Back up for colleagues





* Ops measurement \(ideas\)



Accountability for:





* Ensure Freight invoices, Laytimes, Hire statements are issues and approved timely and accurately





* Stowplan audit/problem solving/management





* Review recap for operational issues and handle/escalate as required





* Communicate with relevant Cargill business units and customers on game plan and tactics\.





* In coordination with Vessel Operations and Center of Excellance scrutinize LOI wording/format for authorized signatories\.





* Resolve loading/discharging issues





* Confirm if the due diligence check is required for strategic / full rigor accounts\.





* Agree with credit control timing and message content for cash payment and collection



**25% \- Account management: for customer and suppliers as allocated:**



Accountability for:





* Account plans updated and filed in appropriate folders





* Regular proactive contact with customer \(e\-mail, phone\)





* Visits, organized jointly with Trading Geneva ops team





* Quarterly analysis of voyages





* Customer satisfaction index





* Measurements: invoice accuracy/timing, laytime accuracy, pending claims,





* Participate in the internal meeting, complete the recap/update account plan and save it in Sale force\.





* Understand the customer from inside \- assets/strategic flows





* Know their trade flow \- where they load/discharge, who are their customers





* Know their organization internal structure and locations





* Know their COA/contract \(freight, laytime terms etc\.\)/ clause\.





* Follow up on issues / concerns\.





* Communication and escalation of claims and incidents





* Feedback information to commercial global ops team\.





* Identify unmet needs of customers and determine





* Actively engage and support Go To Market and Trading efforts to develop new business\.

**Qualifications**



**Requirements**



Minimumof High School degree is **REQUIRED** , Collegedegree: Marine Transportation, Marine Logistics, Logistics or Economic studies\( _PREFERRED_ \)

2\-5years Experience in Vessel Operations with a proven track record of success\(Dry\-Bulk Preferred\)

Able to workeffective solutions to dynamic marine operations while maintain a CustomerFocus
