**Description**



**Position Purpose and Summary**



Cargill is seeking an exceptional Patch Management Analyst for our growing security organization\. This is a key position to strengthen the patch management capabilities which have been identified as a critical area for growth and specialization within Global IT?s scope\. As part of Cargill?s Patching and Vulnerability Management Team, you will be working to implement and maintain our patch management program\.



This position requires a passionate cyber security professional with demonstrated experience in managing patch management\. You will be the key resource and accountable for Cargill? patch management program including governance, coordination, metrics and KPIs\. This role will collaborate with our Cyber Intelligence Operations Teams \(DevOps, Cyber Intelligence, and Cyber Scouts\) and Command Center Teams \(Threat Detection and Response and Investigations\)\.



As part of this role, you will also assist in establishing patch management requirements for Cargill?s expanding network footprint\. This role demands someone who is passionate about meeting security requirements in an ever\-changing world\. Join us on this journey\!



**Principal Accountabilities**



70% Execution



Implement and improve metric and KPI reporting capabilities through coordination with Global IT and other patch management SMEs\.

Monitor and report on patch management SLAs

Establish cycle for patch management reports and review reports for issues\. Ensure 100% of systems are represented in reporting cycles\.

Monitor patch release and review for patches that meet Cargill criteria as a critical vulnerability disclosure\.

Serve as the subject matter expert on patch management program to TGRC and Global IT teams\.

Work with vulnerability management team and IT stakeholders to identify gaps in Cargill?s patching program and develop plans to address these gaps\.



20% Relationship Management



Serves as a primary point of contact for patch management program\.

Utilizes deep knowledge in building and maintaining a sustainable business relationship with a variety of stakeholders\.

Ensures patch management integration across towers, business units, and functions\.



10% Thought Leadership



Monitor existing patch management methodologies and implement within Cargill where appropriate

Maintain a list of highly exploited software and develop a program to ensure this software is patched effectively\.



**Qualifications**



**Required Qualifications**



Bachelor?s degree in business, information systems, or relevant degree

4\-6 years of relevant experience whether in information technology or information security

One industry certification \(CISSP, SANS, CompTIA, etc\.\) or ability to obtain within one year of hire

Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate technical details in a clear and understandable manner

Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills

Must be flexible to work with global teams and working on different time zones

Business fluency in English

Ability to travel globally up to 20%

Master?s degree

Self\-starter, self\-motivated, and able to work independently while following the teams mission and vision in a fast\-paced operationally focused environment
